It works great. It doesn't need to get his power trough an ac adapter, like regular external harddrives. It;s not that big either so it doesn;t restrict my mobility. It's just to much of a hassle to get it properly up and running. And when you're done installing all the proper codecs 90% of the time it still says that the right codecs are not available. So here's the solution VideoLan Player (also known as VLC Player). This program is just playing everything without any problems. Another advantage is that it doesn't use as much memory space and HD space as Windows mediaplayer. Just perfect for the EEE PC. You can download VLC Player here. It is not specificly for the EEE PC but i think when you'r running Windows on the EEE PC it can be very usefull. It removes unused files from your HD (also unused register keys from your registry). So more space and a more optimized registry. This will make your EEE PC a bit faster. You can download it here. I Just finished installing it and it is working great. I installed Windows XP SP3 the complete version for now. But in a later stadium i will install an nLite version. This is the guide i used to get Windows XP OS installed on the EEE PC. It's from EEEguides.com a great resource with several usefull guides for your EEE PC.
