The Impeccable Mr. Beckles blog is a writer's blog posting thoughts, ideas, short stories, chapters of novels not yet finished, and other works in progress. The businessman in full office attire, suit, tie, briefcase tightly clenched in hand, the works, was falling to his death. Sometime after he made his abrupt stop people who were around wondered how a man could make such a messy impact without a single building within a quarter mile for him to slip, jump, or be pushed off of. These people, the homeless vagrants, who are generally accustomed to the randomness of neck-snapping bad luck, were mystified for a good couple of minutes. ...
